How do you hit a draw? 

We get asked this a lot, probably because so many golfers struggle with a distance-robbing slice. A soft draw is a great shot to have at your disposal as it gives you a bit more distance. However, there’s a big difference between a soft draw and a hook – so here are a few tips for you. 

Try altering your set-up by aiming your feet and body right of your target line, whilst keeping your clubface aimed at the target. We want you to swing as normal; closing your body towards the target and taking your normal swing will mean your path is altered more naturally. Do this correctly and you should swing along your body line and right of target, which creates the desired draw shape.

TaylorMade Demo day

In July we have a demo day coming up with TaylorMade. This is your chance to try all the latest offerings from TaylorMade as used by the likes of Jason Day, Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose. 

They will be bringing the M1 and M2 ranges for you to put up against your current clubs. This will be by appointment only and normally fills up very quick so get in early, call the shop or email to book.
