Tour news

A tight affair

The heatwave continues and what a weekend it was in general for British sport. England cruising into the World Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 victory over Sweden, it was also the British Grand Prix where Lewis Hamilton recovered from the back of the field to finish in 2nd place and Scotland’s Russell Knox won the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.

It was a tight affair on the European Tour this week with a playoff hole deciding who took home the Irish Open and it was the Scotsman Russell Knox who defeated Ryan Fox of New Zealand. Knox holed two superb putts on the 18th green at Ballyliffin GC to claim his second European Tour victory. Can you tell the difference? Click here to view.

Attentions now turn to the Scottish Open this week where players will be putting in their final preparations for the third major of the year, The Open. Who will find some form heading into one of the toughest golfing destinations in the world, Carnoustie and will America make it three in a row...
