We know some of you struggle to get your golf in when winter rolls around but if you need your fix, head to the range with these helpful tips.
Firstly, try to focus.
Beating balls aimlessly is a common mistake that can cause more harm than good. Instead, pick small targets on the range that replicate the kind of shot you'll face on the course.
Secondly, use clubs you're not so confident with.
How much better will you feel out on the course with your 4-iron if you've spent time hitting shots with it on the range?
Finally, make notes.
Today it's all about iPads and Apps but a pen and paper will do. Not enough people take the time to record their performances and identify areas they can work on. It's good for the confidence and gives a real sense of purpose to your range time.
